20" suspension forks for recumbent bikes.
A good suspension fork is essential for undisturbed driving pleasure since you can't just stand up from the saddle as with normal bicycles. For recumbents,
a good suspension fork must combine fast action, adjustable spring tension preload and durable bushings with very little play.
HP Velotechnik offers suspension forks made by Spinner or Concept, leading manufacturers when it comes to suspension forks for 20" wheels. Based on our
experience in suspension technology our forks have been tailored to the custom requirements of the recumbent market.
In addition to an adjustable spring preload, the high-quality Spinner Grind 2 20" offers the possibility of exchanging the steel springs and thus adapting
the spring behaviour to a higher payload. It also allows powerful disc brakes to be fitted. These provide reliable high braking power even on long downhill rides or in
wet conditions and protect the rims from wear. The Spinner Grind 2 is available as standard for the Streetmachine Gte and the Grasshopper fx.
As an option for the Speedmachine we offer a light, torsion-resistant and slim fork with the Concept steering head spring system. The compact design allows
the chain to run close to the frame and completely over the front wheel. This allows you to turn safely when cornering sharply. The Concept comes with adjustable damping,
a disc brake mount and a replaceable suspension element. In addition, the axial bearing is adjustable via a multi-tooth profile.
All models are available both with our recumbents and for upgrading your bike. The forks are available with different head tube diameters and lengths to
adjust to your frame's sizes.
