With the Scorpion fs Enduro, HP Velotechnik paves new ways, in the true sense of the word: the trike with chassis technology derived from automotive engineering, MacPherson suspension struts and stabilizing anti-roll bar turns off-road trails into action loaded playground for the adrenaline addicted speedfan.
Based on the proven chassis of the Scorpion fs 26 the Enduro trike has been configured with carefully chosen components. The blue platform pedals turn your leg power into direct propulsion. For even more power, you can optionally mount the extra rigid GX cranks by Sram. Off road the load capacity is at 110 kg (243 lbs), on the road the trike, weighing in from 20,5 kg (45 lbs) will take up to 140 kg (310 lbs).

Massive Grip and Electric Assist on Option
Tough offroad tires with especially strong snake bite protection deliver good grip. (Schwalbe Smart Sam: front 20″ x 2.35″, rear 26″ x 2,1″). With these big knobby tires there is no point in adding fenders. Off road the load capacity is at 110 kg (243 lbs), on the road the Enduro trike, weighing in from 20,5 kg (45 lbs) will take up to 140 kg (310 lbs).

With the Scorpion fs 26, HP Velotechnik presented its first full-suspension speed trike with a smooth-running 26-inch rear wheel, that can be folded flat for transport without the use of tools. With the Scorpion fs 26 Enduro, the expert designers at trike specialist HP Velotechnik added another dimension: superb ride comfort inspired by automotive engineering to cope with all the obstacles that off-road riding can offer.
All the outstanding features of the Scorpion series can be found on the Scorpion fs 26 Enduro as well: in just a few simple steps, it only takes a minute for you to fold up your Scorpion fs 26 Enduro into a space-saving package with dimensions of 123 × 83 × 62 cm (49 x 33 x 25″). If you remove the wheels as well, the dimensions reduce even further to a compact 93 × 74 × 54 cm (37 x 29 x 22″). Even with the optional luggage rack attached, the offroad recumbent mountain trike can still be folded up without removing the wheels. And forget chain worries! Our sophisticated chain management system with flexible guard tubes ensures perfect positioning every time.

BodyLink-Seat
The HP Velotechnik seat systems provide an exemplary ergonomic connection at the key interface between the rider and the trike. With the adjustable BodyLinkhard shell seat, the lower seat shell offers excellent side support, while the upper seatback gives enough freedom for you to lean dynamically into the curve when cornering. Waterproof seat pad cushion made of EVA foam or breathable Airflow seat cushion (multi-layer system).
SeatWings
The SeatWings mounted on the lower part of the BodyLink seat will give your body even more support when cornering dynamically. If you think on key, spare tubes or your wallet while riding the attachable MicroBag for the BodyLink seat will be a handy accessory. The MicroBag is attached with velcro straps and can be taken off to double as a convenient hip bag. ErgoMesh-Seat
The airy ErgoMesh seat is available in several widths and heights. It has anatomically-shaped side cushioning for extra support when cornering and a practical zipper pocket in the backrest. Safety plus: Reflective strips on the seat sides. Both seat systems fit the same frame mounts and are thus interchangeable. They can also be removed entirely in 15 seconds a practical feature when it is raining, or you want to put your recumbent bicycle into your car. The ErgoMesh seat gives you a 3 cm higher sitting position than the BodyLink seat. A higher seating position facilitates boarding and disembarking and improves the overview in traffic, but reduces the tilt stability when cornering at higher speed – please test your desired seat/handlebar combination at your specialist dealer.
Rear Rack
Fancy luggage transport even on rough routes? No problem with your off-road Scorpion. We can install the sturdy rear rack that we developed especially for the Scorpion fs 26 series – and your luggage will be safe and fully suspended on your trails. This enables agile driving dynamics and helps to protect your equipment. The stable rack (14 mm tube) for 2 panniers weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs) in total has been optimized to withstand the high lateral forces to which trikes are subjected. It comes with a secondary, lowered level to hang your panniers with a low center of gravity. Low sidebars provide secure support for bags. With our Top load attachment you can extend the rack with a platform for light luggage.
Parking Brake
As a parking brake, we can install a V-brake on the rear wheel. It is operated by a thumb lever at the handlebar.

The optional quick frame adjustment with quick-release levers can be used to adapt the bike to different leg lengths quickly. By pushing in the boom tube, you can also make your Scorpion fs 26 Enduro even more compact for transport.

Scorpion fs 26 Enduro Frequently Asked Questions
The characteristics of our trikes depend on many factors. The wheel size is only one. HP Velotechnik optimized the geometry of each model for specific characteristics (with or without full suspension, foldable or not foldable, small rear wheel or large rear wheel, etc.). A conversion in this area would harm the overall balanced system and thus on the driving characteristics – therefore our trikes are not intended for such a conversion.
In our concept, the specialist trade is the central sales pillar. Our selected and trained specialist dealers can advise you in detail. Above all, however, they offer a promptly available service locally, which we cannot provide within the framework of our manufactory with some production processes planned for the long term. For these reasons we also do not sell directly to the customer at the factory.
A lot works with a lot – but not everything is compatible with everything. This is obvious with some combinations: a hub gear plus a hub motor in the same rear wheel is not possible. The easiest way to choose your specifications: Enter your whishes in our online configurator – we’ve programmed it with all possible combinations, compatibility, and descriptions on our component choices. For detailed advice on choosing the best option for your desired application, please contact your specialist dealer.
System weight means the weight of rider + luggage + bike (if applicable incl. motor). The payload refers to driver + luggage. In practical terms, this means that if you chose a motor for your bike, you have to subtract its weight from the possible payload. At the maximum payload specified for the Scorpion fs 26 Enduro, we make a distinction: When used as a travel trike on the road, the same requirements apply as for the Scorpion fs 26. If the trike is used off-road, we will take into account the much higher stress there with the reduced permitted payload.
For the rear wheel, HP Velotechnik offers a splash guard designed especially for off-road use. It’s different with the front wheels: The tires optimized for off-road use are so wide that the Trikefenders designed for our road trikes don’t fit. However, it is always possible to fit narrower tires (up to 50 mm / 2″) and then retrofit the Enduro trike with Trikefenders.
The Scorpion fs 26 Enduro is a full-suspension action trike designed for use in rough terrain. Extreme sports activities such as freeride or downhill MTBs are not possible; jumping is expressly not permitted. Also, the structural design limits the range of applications. You must always take into account the width of the vehicle (83 cm / 33″ at the front wheels) and the ground clearance (12 cm / 5″ statically compressed). However, you can ride many flow trails in bike parks comfortably.
