Our development efforts once again focused on the Delta tx®, whose newest version received the prestigious Eurobike Award. For the 2026/27 model year, the lineup is further enhanced with a new e-drive system, a new seat model, and a variety of new accessories.

Delta tx^® Above Seat Steering with Universal Joint

With the universal joint steering, HP Velotechnik is expanding the Delta tx® lineup with another top-mounted steering option. The cardan / universal joint steering transmits steering movements directly and smoothly, without requiring wide arm movements.

In addition to the dynamic riding characteristics, the design also plays an important role. The universal joint steering is designed to require as little maintenance as possible in everyday use.

Under Seat Steering for the Delta tx^®

With the under seat steering option, we are expanding our Delta tx® series to include a model that many specialty retailers have been requesting. The low handlebars ensure a very relaxed posture, significantly relieving strain on the shoulders and upper body.

The combined adjustment of the seat and handlebars remains particularly practical. Both components form a single unit and can be adjusted continuously in just a few simple steps. This allows the seating position to be quickly adjusted without complicated settings or long conversion times.

New Accessories for the Delta tx^®

The Delta tx® lineup is also being further expanded and enhanced with new accessories: The new front rack provides an additional transport option created right in the front area.

Another new feature is the Delta tx® luggage box. It can be mounted either as a removable unit or permanently attached to the vehicle and offers a protected, lockable storage space in the rear area..

For better visibility, we also offer our new mirrors for all Delta tx® models. This expands the Delta tx® accessory portfolio with another important safety feature.

Streamer 2.0

The Streamer 2.0 is an evolution of our proven weather protection system. In daily use, the new folding function in particular stands out as a significant improvement for use on tricycles. It makes getting on and off much easier.

In addition to increased user comfort, the development focused on expanding compatibility: In addition to all non-e-bikes, all e-bike variants of our Gekko and Scorpion families can now also be used, equipped with a Shimano or Bafang system can use a bottom bracket-mounted Streamer 2.0.

ErgoMesh Premium (HS) XL Short Seat

Compared to our ErgoMesh Premium seat, the seat surface is 3 cm (1,2’’) lower and 5 cm (2’’) wider. This provides a noticeable increase in comfort and a more stable seating position. At the same time, the backrest is 7 cm (2,7’’) narrower and 7 cm (2,7’’) shorter than on the regular ErgoMesh Premium seat.

As with all ErgoMesh Premium seats, the backrest and seat surface can be adjusted independently of each other.

For a better view in all situations, we naturally also offer our new ErgoMesh Premium seat as the ErgoMesh Premium XL Short HS with an 11 cm (4,3’’) higher seating position. This means that shorter riders can now also enjoy all the benefits of an ErgoMesh Premium XL seat.

New Adaptive Accessories

To further simplify adaptive cycling adjustments, we are expanding our range of accessories. New to the lineup is an 18-mm pedal axle extension, which is included with all Ergo pedals, Ergo safety pedals, and Ergo pedals with calf brace. Extending the axle creates more space for individual adjustment of the foot position.

Also new to the lineup is the Terracycle crank shortener, which offers four alternative positions to provide the flexibility needed to adjust the pedaling radius.

FIf your leg mobility is limited, our pedal swing for crank shorteners* will help you in the future. It can be mounted as an extension on the Terracycle crank shortener to transform a circular pedaling motion into an elliptical motion with less bending or straightening of the knee.

Bafang M410HD for Trike Models

The Bafang M410 HD bottom bracket motor with Smart Pedaling or throttle up to 20 mph for the USA is now available in all trike models (except Gekko fxs) and brings several interesting new features.

Thanks to the Smart Pedaling technology developed specifically for HP Velotechnik, the Bafang M410 HD is ideal for people with weak leg strength or whose leg strength diminishes significantly while riding. In normal operation, it is a highly powerful motor with 90 Nm of torque that is controlled by pedaling force.

If the push-start assist is used at the start, it accelerates the vehicle up to 6 km/h. However, if the customer presses the thumb lever – known as the throttle – while riding, the M410 HD becomes a rotation-controlled system. The further the thumb lever is pressed, the more e-assist the customer receives, even if they can only pedal lightly.

For the US market, the powerful Bafang M410 HD e-drive system doesn’t come with the Smart Pedaling technology, but delivers another major advantage: instant, on-demand power at the touch of a throttle. The conveniently positioned throttle beneath the display allows effortless acceleration without pedaling.

Whether starting from a standstill, climbing an incline, or simply adding a boost of power, the motor responds instantly while keeping you fully in control. As with all legal U.S. Class 2 e-bike systems, motor assistance is limited to a maximum speed of 20 mph.

BParticularly exciting is the first-time option to choose the electronically shifted Rohloff hub for the Bafang M410 HD. Especially in combination with the electric drive, this delivers very smooth and efficient shifting performance that truly shines on challenging terrain and in everyday use.

For greater range, the new Bafang M410 HD system comes with a 720 Wh battery.

The new motor options will be available for configuration and delivery from August 2026.

Discontinuation of the Speedmachine S-Pedelec

After several years in our portfolio, we are saying goodbye to our two-wheeler Speedmachine S-Pedelec. Of course, we will continue to support users resp. dealers with replacement parts in the future.

Furthermore, our Scorpion fs 26 S-Pedelec remains in the lineup and continues to impress its users with its high riding stability.
