Bank Account Instructions & Credit Card Payment
Thank you for doing business with HP Velotechnik!
Making a payment to HP Velotechnik is straightforward: you can
- preferred: set up your ACH direct debit authorization with HP Velotechnik,
- perform a domestic bank transfer to our US Bank Account,
- use Wise to send us an ACH payment or transfer money from your Wise account,
- authorize us to keep your credit card on file and charge it when payments are due,
- or submit individual credit card payments online.
Please ensure that we receive your payment at least 14 days prior to the scheduled shipping date indicated in your order confirmation to avoid delaying your production slot and shipping timeframe. Most HP Velotechnik bikes and trikes are custom-made according to your order once we have received payment. The total amount due can be found in your order confirmation.
Set Up Your ACH Direct Debit Authorization With HP Velotechnik
The easiest way to get your invoices paid and avoid international credit card payment fees: Authorize us to charge your US bank account by ACH direct debit when payments are due.
Click the button to open a secure payment data form hosted by our payment provider gocardless.com and add your US bank account on the mandate there. Make sure to choose US Dollar as currency. Also enter your accounting email there so GoCardless will notify you every time we charge your bank account.

Pay With Wise
Alternatively to a regular domestic bank transfer as mentioned above, you may send us money using “Wise”. This service provides several payment options which vary in speed and cost. The fees are transparent and usually very low. If you already have a Wise account, the QR code shown here will bring you directly to a Quick Pay form connected with our Wise account.
You can connect your bank account with Wise to allow the service to draw money from your bank account by ACH direct debit.
The easiest and fastest way to pay via Wise is to open a Wise balance. Compared to sending money from an external bank account or using a credit/debit card, a Wise balance typically offers lower fees. Click below to learn more and sign up.
Credit Card Payment
If you prefer to use the extended payment terms offered by your credit card company, we can accept Visa or Mastercard. Due to very high credit card fees we can not accept other issuers such as Amex, Diners Club etc.
Please make sure you have enabled international credit card payments with your bank. For Mastercard, Mastercard Identity Check must be enabled; for VISA, 3D Secure must be enabled.
A 3.8% credit card fee will be added to the invoice amount on the credit card payment form linked below to compensate for a part of our international credit card cost. Please consider one of our cheaper alternative payment options such as setting up your ACH Direct Debit mandate for HP Velotechnik or a bank transfer – see above on this page.
Please note that your credit card issuer may charge additional transaction costs for international payments.
Put Your Credit Card on File
To save time, reduce work and avoid shipping delays put your credit card on file with us. Use the button to safely store your credit card data with our processing company. HP Velotechnik will charge your card on file when payments are due. After clicking the button below, you will be taken to an external page hosted by our secure payment provider “iPayment” to enter your personal credit card data. More info below.
Please note a 3.8% credit card fee will be added to the invoice amount on credit card payments to compensate for a part of our international credit card cost. With the Credit Card on File online form you consent to HP Velotechnik charging your credit card for due payments (unscheduled or recurring credential on file payments). After completing the form, you will see a confirmation screen with a transaction code and a signature line. Please print this page, sign and email it to HP Velotechnik. HP Velotechnik will then set up your account for future credit card on file payments. Never send your credit card information directly to HP Velotechnik.
For all future charges initiated by HP Velotechnik, you will receive a confirmation email from the credit card processing company. You can put several credit cards on file with the company to increase your payment limits
If your order confirmation reads “HP will charge your credit card on file, don’t pay!”, do not pay unless HP Velotechnik asks you to. The reasons for this could be that you have reached your credit card limit or there are technical fraud protection warnings.
Submit Individual Credit Card Payment
After clicking the button “Proceed with payment” below, you will be taken to an external page hosted by our secure payment provider “iPayment”. No charging will occur until you enter your credit card information there.
Your credit card details will only be shared with the credit card processing company, not HP Velotechnik. Please never send your credit card information directly to HP Velotechnik.

If your payment is processed successfully you will be redirected to a confirmation page and receive a separate confirmation email.
If your payment fails, please contact your credit card issuer to to authorize this specific international transaction, or consider making a bank transfer.
As soon as your advance payment order has been shipped HP Velotechnik will mail you a proper commercial invoice with the notice “advance payment received”.
