Folding Trikes: Gekko Series
Fold Up Super Compact in 10 Seconds
To enable you to carry your trike quite compactly wherever you like, we have equipped the foldable versions of the nimble Gekko touring trikes with an amazingly fast, easy-to-operate folding system.
Unlike with conventional folding trikes, where the seat, wheels or luggage rack must be removed first and transported separately, all components remain mounted on the trike. This also applies to the optional electric auxiliary drive, including battery.
All this is made possible by HP Velotechnik’s innovative Dual Flat Fold (D.F.F.) folding system, which uses only two quick-release levers. With little practice, you can fold your collapsible trike into a compact size of 82 x 83 x 52 cm (Gekko fx 20) resp. 107 x 83 x 58 cm (Gekko fx 26) or 92 × 86 × 57 (Gekko fxs) in ten seconds.
Your advantage: After the swift folding, the package can be parked vertically to save space. So you can carry it easily in winding staircases or through train doors. On plain ground, you simply roll the folded Gekko trike on its integrated transport wheels.

Folding Cycle With Suspension and Free Seat Selection
Almost all of the trikes in the Scorpion series can also be folded without tools. Unlike the trikes in the Gekko series, your Scorpion always comes with rear suspension or full suspension, even as a folding bike. Furthermore, there are various removable seats to choose from.
It only takes a minute to fold your Scorpion in just a few simple steps into a space-saving package – even with the luggage rack and fenders attached. It takes only slightly longer if you also remove the front wheels. For this, you only need an Allen key, and so you may even be able to fit another foldable tricycle from the Scorpion family into your trunk.
The folding process is simple: just open three quick-releases, take off the seat, open the frame’s safety lock and then fold the rear end flatly right between the front wheels – the sting of the Scorpion. The folded trike is secured with a strap or Velcro fastener attached to the frame, allowing you to lift and carry the foldable tricycle.

How to fold your Grasshopper fx...
If your Grasshopper fx needs to find a compact shelter after a relaxing tour, you can fold it within 60 seconds.
While stopping, shift immediately to the large chainring and the biggest sprocket so that the chain is nicely strained.
The seat is removable by quick-release. After opening the quick-release lever twist it around the quick-release hub axle 3-4 times, in order to release the seat safety dropouts. Take off the seat. It will find place in the retaining loops of the carrying strap later on.
Turn the right pedal forward, like this it will find place behind the rear rack. Press the above seat steering forward.
With the under seat steering, just open the quick-release fastener at the stem and pull the handlebar/stem combination out of the frameside-mounted stem. To stow the handlebar away, just slide the stem-stud into the rubber socket on the seat tube - we simply call it the "Gummiflomp".
Open the quick-release lever at the folding joint. Press the quick-release hub axle against the spring-pressure downwards, in order to unlock the safety bolt in the folding joint. Swing the front wheel half to the back.
The chain protection tubes are flexible in the sector of the folding joint. The chain twists itself around 90° while folding and can be folded to the side easily. The light cable running through the frame is protected by a robust covering. Take the secure strap and push it underneath the front frame into the lock and...
...press the two frame halves together, until the frames are stopped in their final carry and storage position by the rubber buffer.

96 × 60 × 70 cm (38 x 23.6 x 27.6″) with above seat steering.
For an even narrower package: Rotate the above seat handlebar after loosening a screw and unscrew the left pedal.
Bear it lightly: Together with the transport cover comes a practical shoulder strap. The seat can be mounted easily to the loops of the strap. You can use the strap even without the transport cover.
The cover protects your clothes, the car or the train against dirt and conceals your Grasshopper fx from intrusive eyes. On the road stow the cover into the attached bag and fix it behind the seat tube. Folding Bike: Grasshopper fx
Small Package. Great Ride!
The compact trekking recumbent bike Grasshopper fx can be easily folded up and stored in a train, car, or your home. With a packing size from 96 × 50 × 70 cm (37.8 x 19.7 x 27.6″) and a weight from 15.2 kg (33,5 lbs), it quickly finds safe shelter while out on the road, your Grasshopper fx unfolds pure riding pleasure.
The seat is removable with a quick release mechanism and can be packed into the optional protective cover with practical shoulder strap. The folded frame sections snap into place with the snap-in strap in the snap-in buckle under the main tube.

Separable Trike: Delta tx
Split Rather Than Fold
All good things come in threes: the separable three-wheel cycle Delta tx can be dismantled into three parts in around three minutes. The only tool you need is a 5 mm Allen key. The front section has a packing size of 119 x 60 x 42 cm (46.8″ x 23.6″ x 16.5″; L x H x W, with pedals), the rear section measures 122 x 75 x 60 cm (48″ x 29.5″ x 23.6″; with handlebars and platform carrier).
The seat can be easily stowed next to it for transportation in your car. The weight of the two frame parts of the Delta tx is approximately the same, namely around 16 kg (36 lbs) each. This is a great advantage after splitting the trike when lifting the individual parts!
