Press room: Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung on the Scorpion plus 26
bezogen, weiter hinten befindet."

Press room: 'BentRider Online on the Scorpion plus 26
"HPVelotechnik calls the Scorpion plus 26 a «trike with SUV genes.» To create it, they took their
full-suspension knowledge from the excellent Scorpion fs, combined it with what they learned from the higher-seat
Scorpion fx and added in the same folding hinge that they use in many of their folding trike models.
The result is very nice indeed.

In short, this one of the most ergonomically perfect trike cockpits you'll ever sit in.

Huge success – comfort trike wins Eurobike Award:
At the end of last week the Eurobike Friedrichshafen has let the cat out
of the bag and announced the winners of this years Eurobike Awards. Our
Scorpion plus 20
has been chosen among 476 submitted products! The
first responses in the media shows: the trike with the high seat
position (up to 57 cm) and the wider frame for easy mounting and
entering is well received. Equipped with several accessories from the
"comfort and ability" options range the trike is ideal for physical
rehabilitation following an injury, for persons with physical handicaps
or for age-induced mobility challenges.

There and back again –
There are many globetrotters on bikes - but Matt Galats plan is
probably unique: the next five years he wants to travel through more
then 100 countries on his HP Velotechnik trike. But it is going to be a
journey without return. Because the US national takes off this Friday
from his adopted country China to arrive in Los Angeles in 2019. On the
way he is planning a couple of minor detours, such as climbing the Mount
Everest. Or to hurl himself in a basejumper suit into the 333 deep abyss
at the Cave of Swallows in Mexico.
In China Matt is quite well known, at least in his chosen region and the
town of Ningbo, one of those "small" Chinese town with "just" 9 million
inhabitants. There, the 35 year old is notorious, not at least because
of some of the spectacular video clips he produced for local television.
But Chinas western coast just aint enough for the adventurous man from
Detroit. "It is my dream to explore the world". He has planned his
journey in great detail. Down to the motto for the trip: "Ja Yoe" a
Chinese cheer meaning something like "off we go". To list everything he
has planned would be beyond any scope. Its probably best to click on
his roadmap.
When Matt started the detailed planning for this epic journey more then
a year ago, he quickly realised that he would need a vehicle that would
accompany him through the proverbial thick and thin. After quite some
consideration his decision fell on the "Scorpion fs". And a very special
one at that: Matt visited us in Kriftel in May and filmed the
technicians during the assembly of his trike. The birth of "his baby" -
from the first to the last nut and bolt.
The video equipment will be with him on the entire journey we are
already looking forward to many special images. Because HP Velotechnik
will support Matt Galat on his journey, assist him logistically and of
course keep on posting news from his adventures on our homepage (news).
When the journey starts today we will cheer him with an extra loud "Ja
Yoe" come on, Matt, you will do it!

encounters. His faithful companion on this mega-tour: a Streetmachine
Gte by HP Velotechnik. Read more about what the 25 year old guy from
